Who Can Enter

Entrants must be legal California residents who are 18 years of age or older.

Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc., owner of television station KTTV, and Jose Eber (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How to Enter

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS GIVEAWAY.

Qualified entrants may enter as often as they wish. Entries will be retained for consideration for 3 months following submission.

To enter, go to www.myfoxla.com, click on the Good Day LA tab and find the Knock Knock Makeover page. Follow all instructions to complete the online entry, including submitting the name and photograph of the person you are nominating to receive the makeover, and the reason you are nominating that person. All nominees must be at least 18 years of age.

Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entry materials may be maintained as part of KTTV’s giveaway records. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted.

Winners will be selected by Sponsor based on Sponsor’s evaluation of the submission materials. The giveaway will be judged by Station personnel, and the decision of the judges will be final as to all matters.

All entries received from ineligible entrants will be void.

The Prize(s)

One winner will be selected for each announced makeover segment to receive a haircut and make up application from Jose Eber and his staff. Winners will be notified of the estimated retail value of their prize.

Winners will be notified during the live broadcast of “Good Day LA” if they are selected, and the prize will be delivered at that time. Winners must also complete and sign a Certification of Eligibility and Release.

Prizes can not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner(s). The winner(s) cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

The winners are responsible for paying all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as communicated to winners.

Only one prize will be awarded per household. Only one prize per giveaway will be awarded per household. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize in a giveaway sponsored by KTTV or KCOP within any 12-month period, regardless of the number of giveaways entered. A winner who does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release in time is still treated as a winner for purposes of this rule and therefore will be ineligible to win another giveaway for 12 months.

Odds of Winning; Miscellaneous

Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the individual merit of each entry.

This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize.

By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of participants’ personal information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at www.MyFoxLA.com.
